Location

This is a fully remote position in India. You will be working from your home office and interacting with our
distributed team via web-conferencing.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will be a Software Verification & Test Automation Engineer for our digital thread platform, Syndeia. You will be working with a team of highly-qualified software architects and engineers, and with a variety of software applications, such as SysML modeling tools, PLM / CAD / CAE systems, ALM systems, requirements and project management systems, simulation tools, and databases. Your role will include the following:

  • Develop & execute software verification and test plans on multiple environments (operating systems, application versions, local/cloud deployments).
  • Schedule and track automated test run and reporting on latest builds of our product using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with the software planning and development team to design, implement, and automate test cases
    based on user stories.
  • Work directly with Intercax customers worldwide via our issue tracking system. Verify and respond to
    reported issues.
  • Learn new applications and build test models relevant to various industry domains, such as aerospace,
    healthcare, energy, biomedical, automotive, and manufacturing.
  • Develop and demonstrate new test capabilities and automation using the latest technology stack.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in engineering/science, such as computer science/engineering, systems engineering, robotics, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, electronics/electrical engineering, industrial engineering, from a reputable engineering college/university.
  • 3+ yrs. of software validation, test, QA experience with an enterprise application using test management and automation tools, such as TestRail and Zephyr Scale.
  • 3+ years of experience with test automation frameworks, such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG,
    Mocha, PyTest, Playwright, Appium, and Cypress.
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitLab Pipelines.
  • 3+ yrs. of experience working with issue tracking and help desk systems, such as Jira, GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery oriented, and geographically distributed team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to write test plans, document test results, and communicate with our customers.
